Sitzendorf Porcelain Musical Couple with Sheep & Bagpipes
A charming Sitzendorf porcelain figural group depicting an elegantly dressed pastoral couple making music in an idyllic countryside setting. The seated lady plays a recorder while her companion holds traditional bagpipes, accompanied by two finely modelled sheep.
Both figures are hand-painted in vibrant period costume, with delicate facial features, floral decoration and carefully applied details. The group rests on an ornate Rococo-style scroll base embellished with colourful applied flowers, creating a richly decorative display.
